Wireless Chargers Buying Guide FAQ

Choose a wireless charger by device compatibility, charging protocol, alignment, heat management, desk space, and travel needs.

Which devices can a wireless charger charge together?

Compatibility depends on each charging area, not only on a '2-in-1' or '3-in-1' label. Confirm the exact phone, watch, and earbuds models supported by the charger, because watch charging standards and maximum outputs can differ even within the same device ecosystem.

How do I know whether my phone supports magnetic or Qi2 charging?

Check the phone manufacturer's wireless-charging specification and the charger's exact compatibility list. A phone may support Qi charging without built-in magnetic alignment, and some models need a compatible magnetic case. Do not assume that every Qi, Qi2, or MagSafe-compatible accessory supports the same speed.

Can I charge through a phone case?

Case compatibility depends on material, thickness, and magnetic alignment. Thick cases, metal plates, card wallets, pop grips, and poorly positioned magnets can interrupt charging or create extra heat. Use a case listed as compatible and remove metal objects between the phone and charger.
